The Ixtapa Zihuatanejo resort area is easily accessible by air, and Casa Leo is a short fifteen minutes drive from the airport. Casa Leo celebrated its formal opening in December, 2003. The fresh, open spaces and unique, flowing style prompted one local artist to describe the house as “Frank Lloyd Wright meets Mexico!”

Beyond the breathtaking views, Casa Leo is a showcase of impeccable interior decor. Gently curving, illuminated staircases and walkways flow through Casa Leo to connect each area. Colors of comfort, colors of joy, natural textures, rich, inviting fabrics, exquisitely carved woods and numerous distinctive details, from the finest folk art to Spanish colonial armoires, create an interior that is at once both beautiful and extraordinarily comfortable.

Because Casa Leo is set in tropical surroundings, species of exotic plants, trees, brilliant flowers, multicolored birds and butterflies thrive and abound. Within the house, guests will enjoy a spectacular botanical array of hibiscus, palms, jasmine, cacti and oleander that color and scent every level.
